Overfill Bund Alarm (OBA) Controller – GEN2

Description

The GEN 2 Everlink OBA (overfill & bund alarm module) replaces our earlier model and has some great new features. The OBA provides a solution for warning when a tank reaches safe fill level or over fill level or if there is liquid in the tank bund or interstitial space. The tank sensor (code 70490 purchased separately) is a multi-stage sensor, providing the ability to set the safe fill and over fill levels electronically rather than mechanically.

This means one system will fit any number of different tanks and requirements, reducing stock holding requirements and also installation time and cost. The standard sensor is 450mm long with a 1 BSP thread and has 20 sensing elements every 21mm along the sensor length (see OBA Overfill Sensor). Custom length sensors can also be supplied to suit different tank configurations. The OBA can be mounted directly outside on any surface. There are 2 mounting holes under vanity covers? The OBA has an internal lithium rechargeable battery and solar panel so is compeletly self powered, but it may also be powered from 12-24VDC when used in doors away from sunlight. Alarm indication is by sunlight viewable super high intensity LEDs and a 110dB pulsing siren output.

Relay modules are also available to provide a clean 16A contact to control unload pumps or control other devices or systems during either a bund alarm, safe fill alarm or over fill state (see code 70463 OBA Relay Module).

We have several float switches available for use with the bund alarm input on the OBA. Both vertical and horizontal types.

• Bund Alarm Sensor Input – Normally Open or Normally Closed
• Multistage Level Sensor Input – Order Code 70490
• Self Powered from internal Battery and Solar Panel – Solar panel does not need direct sun light and will work fine from reflected sunlight so can be installed facing away from the sun no problem.
• Three outputs to drive OBA Relay modules. Each of the 3 alarm states has an output. These outputs will only drive and OBA relay module and will not work with standard relays. Order Code 70463
• IP68 rating when used with appropriate glands on cables.
• 7 gland knockouts to provide flexibility for cable entry.
• Junction Box (purchase seperatly) is available so a single cable can be run between two sensors and the controller.
• 6-24V DC Input to keep unit charged when mounted indoors. Any small solar panel between 6 and 24V would also keep unit charged.
